Carl and the Passions changed band name to what?|||Beach Boys

You need a text file with each question and answer on its own line like above....I use an Excel spreadsheet and use a formula to take the question and answer and give me the right format like above. you then create a category in trivia master, then copy/paste this into the import.

If you have an question with multiple answers....do the following

In 1848 The London Daily News carried the worlds fist what?|||Weather report|Weather forcast

separating the answers as above....this will then give the answer

Weather report [OR
  • Weather forcast

    either answer will be accepted.

    Quick question on the answers,

If the answer has quotes " " or comma , when people are answering the question do they need to commas? or quotes?

    For example

What are the names of the original Beatles?|||John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr

Each name is separated by a comma so does the TriviaMaster need to see the , in the room answer in order for it to be correct?

Hope my question makes sense lol

    Thanks

Yes, but you can configure to ignore the marks in the answer key. If you go to Settings -> Trivia

There is option where it said "Ignore marks in the answer".

You can ignore commas; semicolons; spaces, etc.
